We currently have an exciting opportunity for Food and Beverage Banquet Servers to work in our Food and Beverage department. As a server, you will provide superior service to member and guests in our restaurants.

Islington Golf Club is a private club founded in 1923, during the "Golden Age" of golf course construction. In 2019, we were awarded Club of the Year by the Canadian Managers Association of Canada. In 2022, we were privileged to host the practice facilities for the RBC Canadian Open. This year is a celebratory year for us, we will be celebrating 100 years!

Schedule:

Seasonal- to end of golf season; parttime hours are available year round

What you will do:

Assist with setup and tear down of banquet functions
Become familiar with banquet food and beverage offerings
Serve food and beverages in a banquet setting
Take and place beverage orders with bartender
Works well within a team environment
Assist guests who have special dietary requirements
Provide guests with a professional, friendly, and engaging experience
Replenish condiments and stock service areas with supplies
Remove empty plates and glassware from tables
Replaces linens
Set up side stations and perform assigned side work
Other duties as required

What you will bring:

Smart Serve Certification
Previous customer service experience
Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time
Comfort using a POS system
Valid Canadian work permit
